The prototype of the game, news on characters, explanation on endings, DevBlog #3
Hello everyone, Andrey is in touch, today is the last day of the first month of the new year, which means it's time for me to tell you something about the game.
There's good news and bad news:
The good news is that I'm actively continuing to write the script, and I've already got a lot of big story lines ready, so hopefully I'll be able to complete the script soon.
The bad news is that I was never able to master the Scratch program, it turned out to be more difficult than I expected. Now I will study various guides on this program, as well as look at other analogues, now my priority is the Krita program.
I also have ideas for creating a second Happy Tree Friends game. It will be a 2D platformer, with only fan characters in the main role. I think it will take me a lot less time to create this game, because I will build it using the Clickteam Fusion 2.5 engine.
And most importantly, I have an idea to temporarily publish a demo version of the novel on the project page. But I warn you right away: it will be in Russian, and some functions are not working there yet. However, I think that by doing so I will let you understand exactly what the novel will be about. Please let me know in the comments if I should do this or not. I will make a final decision this Sunday. If there is no reaction, I will not publish the demo version.
That's all for today, write comments about the publication of the demo version, tell your friends about the project and stay tuned. Development is moving forward. Andrey was in touch, see you this Sunday.
